Sicilian Defense

Together with the French Defense the Sicilian Defense is the defense on which more chess literature has been written and surely the most used response against 1.e4.

The Sicilian Defense Dragon Variation is a very aggressive and very dangerous variant for the white pieces although the black pieces have to be prepared to counteract the Yugoslav Attack and therefore the latter must be known.

The Sicilian Defense Dragon Variation is characterized by plays 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 g6 where Black prepares the fianchetto of her bishop in g7 and then the castling.

In this app we collect chess games in PGN format of this defense that will serve as a complement to the study of it. The chess games have been selected trying to describe all possible variations:

- Classical (ECO B73 and B74).

- Yugoslav Attack (ECO B75 to B78).

- Accelerated Fianchetto or Accelerated Dragon (ECO B35 to B39).
